While in law school Alison accepted a summer internship with the Army JAG Corp at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. While working on her Masters at the University of San Diego, Mrs. Timboe was selected by the Chair of the State Bar of California’s Tax Section to write and present a proposal for tax legislation. In May 2006, she joined the State Bar Delegation in Washington D.C. and presented her proposal to members of the Internal Revenue Service, the Treasury, and the Senate Finance Committee.
After her presentation in Washington D.C., Alison joined the Law Office of David C. Anderson to learn the complexities of sophisticated estate planning. Here, she has implemented the skills she learned through her education and has benefited from an extensive mentoring relationship with the law firms principal attorney.
